We reserve the right to make changes to this Privacy Policy at any time and for any reason. We will alert you about any changes by updating the “Effective Date” of this Privacy Policy.

- Automatically collected when you create an account
- Stored securely in our database
- Used solely for preventing duplicate free trial claims
- Cannot be reverse-engineered to identify your device
- Retained permanently for fraud prevention purposes
Account Deletion and Grace Period
When you request account deletion, we provide a 15-day grace period during which:
- Your account is marked for deletion but remains recoverable
- You can contact us to restore your account
- After 15 days, all your data is permanently deleted
- Device hash information may be retained for fraud prevention
During the grace period, your data remains subject to this privacy policy. After permanent deletion, no personal data is retained except for the anonymized device hash for fraud prevention.

5. AI Feature Data Handling
Our App utilizes AI services from OpenAI to generate illustrations and analyze emotions. This involves sending specific data points to OpenAI as described in Section 4.
- We only send the necessary information required for the specific AI task.
- Generated content (illustrations, detected emotions) is stored within our App database (Supabase) to provide the features and allow offline viewing/caching where applicable.
- Profile Picture Handling: As per our planned features, we aim to delete the original profile picture you upload for a family member from our storage once the corresponding AI-generated illustrated portrait has been successfully created and stored. The AI-generated description may be retained to assist future illustration generation.
6. Data Retention
We will retain your personal information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide you services, comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. You can delete specific family members or memories through the App’s interface. Deleting your account will result in the deletion of your associated personal information, subject to necessary retention for legal or backup purposes.
7. Your Rights
Depending on your location, you may have certain rights regarding your personal information:
- Access: You have the right to request access to the personal information we hold about you.
- Correction: You have the right to request correction of inaccurate personal information. Much of this can be done directly within the App (e.g., editing family member details, memory content).
