for the first year, which is a blur

A newborn photo book that's done by their first birthday.

You won't fill in a baby book during the newborn months. Nobody does. Save a photo, a video or a ten-second note in Momora when you can, and by their first birthday the best of it becomes a hardcover book of Year One.

Baby Ari asleep on a parent's chest
week three, finally asleep

Built in the gaps of the first year.

  1. Save the moment, not the scrapbook

A photo from the night feed, a clip of the first smile, a sentence you say out loud while rocking them. Ten seconds, one hand.

  2. Let everyone add their photos

Your partner's videos and Grandma's photos from her visit go on the same private timeline.

  3. Print Year One

Around their first birthday, Momora picks the best moments from birth to one and lays out the book. You look it over and order.

The things you'll want back most aren't photos.

The little snore. The first real laugh. The way they said “uh-oh” at nine months. Save the recording or the video, and it goes in the book as a code you scan to hear it again.

And the words you wrote that week sit next to the picture, so in ten years you'll still know why it mattered.

month nine

Ari discovered he could feed the dog from the high chair. The dog discovered it too.

“uh-oh.”

Behind already? You're not.

Most of Year One happens before anyone has the energy to save it. Add moments with any date, whenever you get a minute, and they land in the right month.

If the camera roll is a wall of near-identical photos, choose which ones Momora may look through and it suggests the days worth keeping, ready to add. Nothing goes in unless you say so.

Questions parents ask

When can I make the newborn book?

Whenever you're ready. A Year One book covers birth to their first birthday, so most parents order it around then. You can also make a book of everything so far at any point.

Do I have to start on the day they're born?

No. You can add photos and moments with earlier dates any time, including the first weeks you spent too tired to do anything. If your camera roll is already full, Momora can suggest the days worth keeping from photos you choose.

Can the book include their sounds, not just photos?

Yes. Recordings and videos you saved can appear in the printed book as small codes. Point a phone at the page and you hear the first laugh again.

Will there be pages for milestones?

When you've written about a first, like the first steps or first word, it can get its own spot in the book. Momora only includes firsts you actually recorded. It never guesses dates.

Can my partner and the grandparents add photos?

Yes. Invite them to your family and everyone's photos and moments go on the same private timeline, so the book draws from all of them.

How do I order, and where do you ship?

From the Momora app. Books ship to the US, Canada, Mexico, Australia, New Zealand, Japan, Singapore, Switzerland and Norway, but not yet to the UK or EU.
